Two Google products not working together

I only use Google voice and this is incompatible with gvoice

New update of Android Messages app haven't helped

No way to customize colors or have a dark option atleast

And group MMS chatting fails due to this

This message app doesn't work correctly

Redundant emoticon icon in text field

Doesn't support read receipts

Sends repeat messages and they are split

Sent date and time are also incorrectly displayed
