But I got a hint from the FAQ that helped me find the problem

Fast response for callsign activation

APRSdroid is the best APRS interface I've found

When I click on map icon the app closes

Entered my info and grid square to get pass code

Horrible customer service

The customer support is non existent

No Response to multiple requests to retrieve passcode

This app will not send AFSK out of the headphone jack

This thing is useless without the pass code

Developer has stopped supporting this app

Shouldn't have to pay for something if you can't use it

Waiting this long to be able to use it is unacceptable

APRSdroid is an APRS application for Amateur Radio (HAM) operators. It allows reporting your position as well as sending and receiving messages. It also conveniently displays nearby stations as a list or on a map. Feel free to contact the author via e-mail with any issues you might encounter. To make full use of APRSdroid, you will need an APRS-IS passcode for your callsign.
