The goTenna Android app is a gateway for using your goTenna device. Android OS 4.3 or higher and a Bluetooth 4.0-enabled device are required. goTenna is a small device that enables you to use your smartphone to send and receive text messages, and share your GPS location on detailed offline maps with others even when you don’t have service. Download the app to pair your smartphone with goTenna via Bluetooth-LE, and communicate off-grid with other goTenna users, no cell towers, wifi routers or even satellites required! Offline maps are free to download before you go off-grid, and you can share your location, request others' locations, and also share points of interest. The maps are detailed enough to show specific city blocks and even some trails in certain parks.
